I would say that our group had a good perspective we worked good as a team but did not organize ourselves well enough. We started brain storming about the possible solutions for the egg drop as soon as we had enough information, what I think we should have done was to perhaps get a team leader as it was requested. That team leader then to make sure that we are doing everything we are supposed to and to divide assignments amongst us. Instead we all did in a sense everything, and because of that somehow we ended not following the instruction all the way through. As I said we were a team with a lot of potential since we did the bigger part of the assignment and where able to save the egg from breaking, but have failed on a mechanical and easy part of the assignment where we were just supposed to follow the instructions. We were disqualified from the competition even though our egg did not break. The sheet where the plan was presented did not incorporate our names, and so we have failed as a team only because we did not follow the instructions that were given. This was a good school and I know next opportunity I get the same mistakes will not occur.
I totally agree with you Adam, we failed to follow directions and did not have a team leader....I hope next time we really don't repeat the same mistake :)
ReplyDeleteahah everyone in the team (including me)is talking about our names missing on the paper. Wish all of us won't need that 10 extra points in our exams. Good Job team :D
ReplyDeleteYes, that's petty to be so close to success and for one piece of instruction be disqualified. Well, hope next time my team and your team will be more careful...
ReplyDeleteI did not believe that because your names were not in the sheet, you did not get the extra points. You guys learned that following instructions was crucial in planning. I think we all learned something in the class activity.
